The Kiwi Dream

Baaa…

Baaa…

Baaa…

Lol, I'm obviously bored here while my Kiwi flatmate walks around "baaa-ing". But seriously I'm so reminded of the typical Kiwi when I see this picture.

Our previous German homestay – Dagmar has returned home & we miss her as she is our 1st homestay. We are looking forward to our next homestay & he's from Germany as well. We will continue on with our reputation as The Best Wellington "Corrupting" Homestay Duo, but then again, I'm probably the one most likely to do the corrupting, I'm quite excited about that.

After 3 years of "baaa-ing" in New Zealand, as a foreigner's 1st impression re New Zealand as a very dead country where everything shuts at 5pm or perhaps a country with just sheep but I've to prove you wrong. It’s not what you're thinking. I'm loving it, as I can be myself, especially wearing kimono on my birthday at 12am in the capital city main street or perhaps being a typical friendly 20y.o. doing some random stuff with random people at 2am in the morning without any fear; like, hugging, hi-5, yelling, compliments to each other, basically just acting retarded & most importantly having fun.

The secret is that you need to let loose of yourself, especially those Sticky Rice Asians (don't ask me why as I'm NOT one of Sticky Rice Asians) because I was determined to blend into the Kiwi lifestyle. All Hail The Kiwi Queen – Outrageous Fortune!

Oh, not to mention, "the grass will be always greener on the other side."

Cheers,
